Abstract:

Based on the book Aunt Chip and the great Triple Creek dam affair by Patricia Polacco: When the town of Triple Creek first built a huge TV tower, Aunt Chip took to her bed, promising, "there will be consequences." Now, 50 years later, the townspeople are so obsessed with their televisions that they are oblivious to everything else.

Based on the book The best story by Eileen Spinelli: The Red Brick Library was having a contest: Write the Best Story and Win First Prize! When the girl you will meet in this video sees that sign, she just knows she has to win this contest.

Based on the book Dear deer by Gene Barretta: Aunt Ant has just moved to the zoo. Speaking in homophones, she describes her quirky friends. There's the MOOSE who loved MOUSSE and ATE EIGHT Bowls!

Based on the book Hooray for reading day by Margery Cuyler: When Jessica tries to read aloud in class, she stumbles over the words and everyone laughs. Jessica faces her reading worries with help from her teacher, family and support from a very special friend.

Based on the book The boy who was raised by librarians by Carla D. Morris: Melvin discovers that the public library is the place where he can find just about anything--including three librarians who help in his quest for knowledge.
