Abstract:

It's 1775, the eve of the American Revolution, Britain is vulnerable. The enemy, France, knows it. The key to war or peace between these 18th century superpowers is a young French-American, Count who has estates in America which the French Crown is desperate to possess. The would-be enemy of England will be murdered and France will declare war. King George appoints Dominic Angelo to protect the Count. When he is tricked by a traitor, the stakes are raised. With the fate of nations and Angelo's dynasty hanging in the balance, the tension mounts.
