Abstract:

Red blizzard. Pawnee Perez is an army scout, distrusted by some of the officers and hated by the Sioux. During the conflict between Red Cloud, Crazy Horse and the U.S. Army, Perez is also the only man who can make his way through the hostile Sioux surrounding the fort and ride for military reinforcements.

Tales of the Texas Rangers. During the Forty Year War, the Texas Rangers--the oldest law enforcement agency on the North American continent--waged war against the Comanches, military invasions from Mexico, and frontier thieves and murderers such as John Wesley Hardin and Sam Bass.

The Hunkpapa scout. Sunkele Sha, a full-blood Hunkpapa, was a trail guide for a wagon train before it was wiped out by the warring Sioux. Escaping with his life, he attempts to warn a nearby U.S. Calvary troop that it will soon be next.
