Abstract:
Meet Bailey Weggins, the thirty-something, single-again true crime writer for GLOSS, a leading Manhattan woman's magazine. Smart and savvy, she's got a sixth sense when it comes to seeing the truth in a story - especially if it's murder. The action starts when Bailey gets a call from her boss, GLOSS editor Cat Jones. At Cat's Upper East Side town house, she finds the reason for Cat's distress: the dead body of the family's live-in nanny. Bailey dives into the investigation and finds that Cat may have been the intended victim, indeed that someone may be trying to kill the editors of women's magazines ... and maybe even their true crime writers!
