Jacob Kingsbury at Detroit, Mich., from officers and soldiers at Fort Wayne regarding the military situation there; letters from Indian agent Benjamin Parke (1777-1835) to secretaries of war William H. Crawford and John C. Calhoun regarding the proposed purchase of lands along the White River in central Indiana from the Miami and Delaware Indians, and negotiations with the Indians leading to the Treaty of St. Marys, Ohio (1818); letters (1818) of Indian agent John Johnston to John C. Calhoun regarding proposed treaties for the sale of Indian lands; and ms. copies of acts of the territorial legislature, signed by Gov. William Henry Harrison.
