Abstract:

In this episode, leading American theoretical physicist and futurist Dr. Michio Kaku explores the cutting-edge science of today and looks at what can be anticipated tomorrow-and beyond. Today's computers have artificial intelligence, but tomorrow's computers will have real intelligence just like the human brain. Dr. Kaku predicts that in this century we are going to make the transition from the "Age of Discovery" to the "Age of Mastery." He also predicts that during this period we will cease observing nature passively and instead take control to create an environment more amenable to our vision of the future. This change will give us not only unparalleled possibilities but also great responsibilities.
