This inaugural monograph in the Montana Monograph Series is thought provoking to put it mildly- the opening essay is itself worth a read, followed by essays from educators and critical theorists that question the role of maths education in the curriculum in an intriguing manner. Inequities abound in the implementation of the maths curriculum in places like South Africa, Israel and even Australia- this is exposed by the essayists in a convincing way. I found the book free at the Montana Mathematics Enthusiast journal webpage but purchased it to have it as a reference for my own work in the field of gender imbalances in Northern European countries.
