This interview is taken for the Us Magazine. Channing talks about her stage and movie experiences, her college days and acting in school productions while studying at Harvard, her part in the movie Grease and how she almost rejected it, the film's producer Alan Carr and his talent for promoting, and emphasizes the importance of choosing the right roles. She recalls her work at the Theatre Company of Boston and its founder and artistic director, David Findley Wheeler. She discusses the TV series "Stockard Channing in just friends," her character, references to her personal life, and the characteristics of situational comedy. Mewborn and Channing criticize journalistic distortion and its tendency to label and generalize.
