Franz Kafka was described as living behind a 'glass wall', writing bizarre fantasy, tainted with hilarity and self-abasement, he brought to this an almost unbearably expanded consciousness, creating a unique literary language in which to hide. This book, helping us to see beyond the cliche 'Kafkaesque', is illustrated by legendary underground artist Robert Crumb.
