Part 2 of this book covers the newest version of one of the most popular word processing applications today - Microsoft Word. Students will learn how to create professional-looking documents by incorporating tables, graphics and formatting techniques. Part 3 discusses Internet and email, specifically Microsoft Internet Explorer and Windows Mail, which is the new and improved version of Outlook Express. IT Foundations has been developed for Certificate I of the National Information Technology Training Package. It covers the following competencies: ICAU1128A Operate a personal computer ICAU1129A Operate a word processing application ICAU1133A Send and retrieve information using web browsers and email."--Provided by publisher.
