Political correspondence relates to Arizona statehood, Democratic party politics, prohibition, his unsuccessful campaign for senator, and political endorsements. Legal materials relate to Ives' cases including Zeckendorf vs. Steinfeld, Steinfeld vs. Wong, and cases involving the Santa Cruz Reservoir Co., Arizona Eastern Railroad, Dr. George Goodfellow, Ralph Cameron, and the divorce of Charles and Eva Lummis. Prominent correspondents include George W.P. Hunt, Albert Steinfeld, Mulford Winsor, William C. Greene, Epes Randolph, and Louis Zeckendorf.
