Abstract:

This volume explores the truth behind homicide inflicted by adolescents and offers practical and authoritative advice to parents and teachers on how to save our children and save ourselves. The author compiled his information through years of interviews, and re-interviews of kids incarcerated at the California Youth Authority, the equivalent of state prison for minors who commit the most heinous crimes. He found that they felt alienated, isolated, not loved, were bullied at home by a parent, received no parental support with their anger management and had easy access to drugs and guns. These young killers tell the author what they think is needed in today's society to stop the rage.
