Collection consists of studio and candid portraits of Robinson (ca. 1950s-1960s); a composite photograph of Robinson as a college athlete (1939-1940) and professional baseball player (1954); portraits and candid views of Robinson as a member of the Brooklyn Dodgers baseball farm team, the Montreal Royals (1946), and as a Brooklyn Dodger (ca. 1947-1956); group portraits and candid views of Robinson as host of a radio program (ca. 1959); with fellow Brooklyn Dodger Roy Campanella and groups of young boys at the YMCA (ca. 1954); in group portraits with Dr. Mary Huff Diggs, of the Child Adoption Service of the (New York) State Charities Aid Association, a young child and others (n.d.); being honored at the 1972 World Series, in Cincinnati, with Baseball Commissioner Bowie Kuhn at his side; and in group portraits and candid views attending various award presentations, publicity events, social gatherings and a housing dedication (ca. 1950s-1960s).
