Abstract:

In their two interviews (20 Sept. and 21 Nov. 2006), Idaho governor Jim Risch and First Lady Vicki Risch talked about their experiences working in the Idaho State Capitol building. The Risches spoke about the time from the 1970s through 2006 and of the following topics: working in the legislature, as lieutenant-governor, and governor; Idaho political campaigns; the role of the Idaho First Lady; and Boise, Idaho. Governor Risch also talked about the reasons he initially ran for public office.
