This collection spans from 1824-1966 and includes correspondence, an original sketch of Muir by Eva Scott Fenyes, newspaper clippings, ephemera, and a copy of Muir's Yosemite Valley journal. This collection spans from 1824-1966 and includes copies of John Muir's correspondence with Charles Fletcher Lummis from 1895-1912, an original sketch of Muir by Eva Scott Fenyes, newspaper clippings of articles by or about John Muir, ephemera, and a copy of Muir's journal documenting his time in the Yosemite Valley from 1869-1870. The journal copy appears to have been made by Jeanne Carr, date unknown. This collection contains photostats of correspondence between Muir and Lummis, the originals of which have been moved to the Charles Fletcher Lummis Manuscript Collection, MS.1.1.3221A and B.
