Bade, Muir's literary executor; Linnie Marsh Wolfe, biographer of John Muir (1940-1944); Muir family papers (1849-1957); Sierra Club papers (1896-1913); and miscellaneous papers of Jeanne Carr and other friends and associates. Series VI, containing related articles and scrapbooks, consists of 11 boxes of clippings and scrapbooks collected by John Muir. Series VII, containing Muir's library and memorabilia, consists of 2 boxes and over 700 books.
