Includes working files for such plays as Annie Get Your Gun, Charley's Aunt, John Loves Mary, Kind Sir, Miss Moffat, Mr. President, Wish You Were Here, and The Wisteria Trees; films such as Bus Stop, Camelot, Ensign Pulver, Paint Your Wagon, Sayonara, and The World of Suzie Wong; and both theatrical and film versions of Fanny, Mister Roberts, Picnic, and South Pacific. Also includes notes and drafts for his autobiography, Josh: My Up and Down, In and Out Life (1976) and Movie Stars, Real People, and Me (1978).

Family correspondents include Logan's mother, Sue Nabors Noble, his wife, Nedda Harrigan Logan, and his stepsister, Lois Noble Smith.
