     A short, well written biography of this well know black leader. It portrays him as a hero but doesn't neglect his faults.  His part in the Civil Rights movement and NAACP is highlighted. The black and white pictures add to the book's interest. It is over 100 pages which meets many teacher requirements for biographies.
