Formats: Hard cover book and CD-ROM were produced; each format has unique ISBN.
Construction: Limited edition of 412 copies; trim 7x10, 592pp, black ink, printed on 70# Fortune Matte coated stock, 500ppi; Smyth sewn in 16s, cased into Roxite blue vellum, 98pt binders board, 80# endsheets, reinforced, rounded and backed head and footbands, foil stamp front and spine, no jacket, individually shrinkwrapped when produced in December 2000.
Content: A family history with some ancestors and all known descendants of the Bohemian emigrant and family patriarch Frantisek Kalal (1814-1869). Includes ~3,000 names, full index, 189 half-tone photos and illustrations with captions, 18 chapters, and dozens of biographies and family stories. Chapters 1 and 2 relate to the patriarch, his ancestry, and biography; subsequent chapters pertain to his descendants; 5 appendices cover extended family lines.
