Knuffle Bunny Free is the final addition to the Knuffle Bunny trilogy by Mo Willems. In this book, we see Trixie and Knuffle Bunny taking a long flight with her parents to visit her grandparents, Oma and Opa, in Holland. Trixie has a great flight, but when she arrives at Oma and Opa's house, she realizes that she has lost one very important thing: Knuffle Bunny! This is a sweet story that addresses one of the hardest things about becoming a big kid: giving up some of the childhood comforts like stuffed animals and security blankets. Trixie handles it all beautifully, and ends up learning a very important lesson about helping others. Willems also includes a sweet note to his daughter at the end of the book, while also giving readers the chance to see what Trixie's life might be when she grows up. A must-have for children's collections, and a must-read for everyone!
