Lipscomb at the 135th Street branch library, showing the collection to Eleanor Roosevelt, with Frank Hopper of NYPL, talking to Margaret Mead and others, speaking in Madison Square Garden, participating in a lecture with Lin Yutang, presenting with Claude Barnett, a plaque to Ernestine Rose upon her retirement, in a group portrait with, among others, George Schuyler, Roy Wilkins and James Latimer Allen, and accepting some letters from Rufus B. Atwood. Full, half and quarter length portraits are included.
