Notes: This book has been published in a limited edition by Typefoundry "Amsterdam"... on the occasion of its centenary, June 1st, 1951, and is presented to its friends and connections. It has been translated from the Dutch edition... The typographical design and that of the binding is by D. Dooijes. The text has been handset in De Roos Roman and italic, designed by S.H. de Roos, cut and cast by Typefoundry "Amsterdam" and printed in its own printing-office. The illustrations have been printed in gravure by N.V. Drukkerij "Vada" in Wageningen, Netherlands. The paper has been specially made by N.V. Papierfabriek "Gelderland" in Nijmegen, Netherlands, and was supplied by Messrs. Proost and Brandt N.V. The binding has been executed by Messrs. Elias P. van Bommel and by Proost and Brandt N.V., both in Amsterdam, Netherlands."--Colophon.
