[2] 1844, May 17, Madrid [Spain], to Henry Ledyard [2 p.] : The documents referred to by Ledyard "Convention Particuliere between France and Spain 15 Aug. 1751 " may be in Archives of Salamanca. Mr. Hamilton has left Madrid; Irving looks forward to Mr. Livingston's arrival. [3] 1849, Nov. 29, Sunnyside [Tarrytown, N.Y.] to "Dear Sir" : Signed: Washington Irving. "In compliance with your request I send you my autograph." [4] Signature, 1857, March 7, Sunnyside [Tarrytown, N.Y.].
