BAL notes that copies designated "Third Edition" may be such, adding "This appears to be textually the same as the Second Edition but has an additional inserted frontispiece captioned Political Portrait of Major Downing."
The American Antiquarian Society holds a copy of each state; publishers' advertisements at end vary in the two copies, state A having [4] p. of advertisements; state B having [4], 9, [3] p.
