In a letter, 1897 November 6, Colvin discusses making no indiscreet use of the enclosures with her letter, in particularly those referring to Julian Hawthorne and William Dean Howells; describes work on his biography of Stevenson which is going slowly due to his health and other literary work; notes that interest in his subject is increasing with time; and sends thanks for the American prospectus for the Edinburgh memorial [to Stevenson?] sent by her husband.
