Review of Letters to Hereward Carrington from famous health reformers by H. M. Shelton

CITATION: Shelton, H. M. (2005). Letters to Hereward Carrington from famous health reformers. Whitefish, MT: Kessinger Publications.

Reviewer: Dr W. P. Palmer

I am currently researching the life of Hereward Carrington who is mainly known as a psychic researcher who had diverse scientific interests and frequently wrote about diet. He was himself a vegetarian. The book, Letters to Hereward Carrington from famous health reformers, thus had the capacity to be informative about this aspect of Carrington's life.

Unfortunately I found the book a little disappointing. It provided virtually no information about Carrington, mainly because it is such a very brief book, consisting only of pages 82 to 94 followed by about 30 blank pages. Also on the first page, the left hand margin is too wide, meaning that the end of each line of print is omitted.

Caveat emptor!
