Great addition to the collection   (2009-04-17)

Lirael has never felt she belongs to the Clayr, a group with the ability to see the future. However, she has other abilities that makeher the best person to help defeat a terrible evil that threatens her entire world. Strong characters and an engaging story line.

This is, without a doubt, my favorite book in the Abhorsen series.  It may have something to do with being a librarian, but I think it has much more to do with Lirael and her insecurities, strengths, and maybe even her dog.  I mean, the Disreputable Dog may be the best talking dog EVER. ...
