Abstract:

After wandering medieval England in an attempt to escape his memories of war, former soldier Tom Weston settles on Sir Andrew's estate in a peaceful vale, where he works as a groom. A visit from one of the royal princes, however, shatters his sanctuary. Prince Ian seems determined to lure Tom out of the stable and into the bedroom, but however tempting Tom finds Ian, he has no intention of rolling over on royal command. Unexpectedly, the two become friends. At last Tom decides he might want more after all--but he isn't the only one haunted by the war.
