The first book authored by dimaggio, very rare to find within the first 4 years it was published, most collectors holdings are from 1951 - 1957 and few are good condition that are seen from 1949 or earlier. A fantastic story and a wonderful read it is a great look into what an amazing life it must be to be a part of the most famous and most world series championship teams ever to play the game. Lucky to be a Yankee is what Joe was surely aware of and he proclaimed it as any player dubbed the "Yankee Clipper" should!
