Abstract:
In this video, the viewer is made to identify with William Lyon Mackenzie King as he tried to avoid conscription in the final year of World War 2. Through the skill of the writers and cinematographers, William Lyon Mackenzie King is seen as a man who clearly understood the danger to the future of Canada so sharply focused in the single issue of conscription.
