Abstract:

"I am pleased to invite you to explore the Great Charter through Magna Carta: Muse I am pleased to invite you to explore the Great Charter through Magna Carta: Muse and Mentor. The distinguished contributors have drawn upon diverse sources of scholarship to offer new insights into Magna Carta's origins, historical legacy, and current relevance. They confirm that, although Magna Carta is now 800 years old, it still beckons new learning. Magna Carta: Muse and Mentor is an engaging work of scholarship that celebrates eight centuries of struggle and progress in advancing the rule of law. Studying that history can help spark a renewed commitment to take on the unfinished challenge of securing liberty for all". -- FOREWORD.
