The best of Austen   (2006-08-22)

Known as one of the more 'difficult" of Austen's works (due to what some find to be unsympathetic, overly moralistic characters), I think this novel is her best. Enjoyment hinges on what one thinks of Fanny--but no matter, the writing has wit, ease but also complexity. Highly recommended, as is the film.
