Notes:	Cadastral map. Covers the area later bounded by Gansevoort Street, Greenwich Street, Bethune Street and the Hudson River, Manhattan, New York (N.Y.); Gansevoort was formerly Great Kill Road. Map shows property lines, and owners' names. Also shows water grant and line of high and low tide. Gives some dimensions. This ms. based on two earlier works dated, respectively, 1837 May 9 and 1831 Apr. 12. Date of ms. probably within 16 years of 1832 watermark date. Pen-and-ink (black and color), watercolor on paper. Watermark: J Whatman 1832. Lightly soiled and foxed, slightly torn.
