The march of time: The story of a merchant mariner who is a hero to the United States, but is not allowed to become a citizen because he's a German native. Rear admiral, DeWitt Clinton Ramsey speaks from Washington, D.C. about U.S. Navy actions. Fulton Lewis, Jr. news broadcast: A Japanese domestic broadcast indicates that the war situation is grave; a congressional investigation of the liquor shortage has begun; Mr. Lewis' take on the real reason for the liquor shortage; a possible oil shortage is being caused by the Office of Price Administration's refusal to raise the ceiling price; a summary of the wasteful Canol project in Canada.
