I learned more history from Sarah Burns than I ever did in school. Can we clone this woman and put her in our education system? Donna Schuman

Sarah Chloe Burns gives us a fascinating and informative historical tale.

Taking us from London to the Carribean, Jamestown to Scotland, she demonstrates her ability to make history come to life and to spin a spell-binding yarn.

I have read this book two times and I am still in love with it.  The characters are rich and alive, you really end up feeling like you know them personally.  The history was astonishing , I do hope Ms. Burns continues to write.

I cannot say enough about Matilda of Argyll. I could not put the book down. I would highly recommend this novel to anyone whether you are a history "buff" or not. Ms. Burns did an amazing job of bringing many history to life through the fictional character Matilda. I cannot wait for the "Part II".....
