Abstract:

Based on a true story, Darlene longs for love, family and passion. She leaves her small rural town to find the one man that can fulfill all of her desires. One child, still single and three years later, Darlene, comes back home. She accepts a marriage proposal from a neighbor who turns her into his personal slave. Her husband's cousin comes to live with them and she finds comfort with him. A young and handsome drifter shows up to work and he ignites Darlene's passions. Can one woman, three men and four children live under one roof or will Darlene be swept away by the drifter?
