Program 31 deals with electric potential and its gradients, the potentials of atoms and metals, electric energy, and why sparks jump. Program 32 covers the shift away from electricity as a curiosity with the invention of the electric battery by Alessandro Volta. Program 33 deals with the design and analysis of currents flowing in series and parallel circuits of resistors and capacitators. Covers the laws of Ohm and Kirchhoff and the contribution of Charles Wheatstone. Program 34 deals with magnetism as a natural phenomenon, the behavior of magnetic materials, and the motion of charged particles in a magnetic field. Uses computer animation sequences, historical reenactments, and close-up photography of experiments.
