|Notes:||Second series, published also in London, R. Bentley (2 vols.)--with title slightly changed. A 2d edition appeared under title "The court of London from 1819 to 1825," London, R. Bentley, 1873.
The first series was published in 1833, simultaneously in Philadelphia under title "Memoranda of a residence at the court of London," and London under title "Narrative of a residence ..." The 2d edition of this series, revised and enlarged, appeared the same year both in London and Philadelphia. (cf. Sabin and preface to 3d edition)--The 3d edition published under title "Residence at the court of London ..." was edited by the author's son, B. Rush, London and Philadelphia, 1872.
