Admirals - Conolly, Hewitt, Kinkaid, and Turner; the Submariners - Kretschmer, Prien, and Lockwood; the Anti-Submariners, Tactical and General - Walker, Horton, Stark, Ramsey, Somerville, Fraser, Vian, and Burke; and the Unsung Heroes as well, men whose efforts do not usually come into naval histories - Godfrey and Rochefort of the Intelligence branch, Moreel of the Seabees, and the U.S. Marine General Howlin' Mad Smith. Men of War is likely to become one of the standard.
