Loved it! Great for elementary school boys especially   (2010-10-28)
Loved it! This book cracked me up, and I love how both the kids AND adults grew up a little over the course of the book. My 9-year-old stepson (and my husband) loved it, too, which is always a good sign. :)

AWESOME'S not the word.It was totally fantastical.Bella had to choose between her ooh-so-gud-lukin-boyfriend and her child-hood friend Jacob. This set her in minds.WHAT would she do?According to me she must continue with Edward.I would surely have done that if I were in her place.Big deal if Jacob saved...

Hard to Choose    (2009-05-29)
I think the Twilight series are great, but to chose between Jacob and Edward would be hard for me.First of all Jacob saved Bella's life, but Edward did too.Second, before Edward came back Bella was starting to fall in love with Jacob, even though she still loved...

A compelling read, despite some annoyances   (2009-07-10)
Three and a half stars, actually--if the characters had figured out what was going on as soon as I did, I might have given the book 4 stars. (That would have dramatically shortened the novel, though.) It was still a compelling, fast read, despite my impatience.

Great book, wish the author would have explained a little more at the end. I felt there was not complete closure.

Great for Parent to Child   (2010-02-13)
What a book! I read this book to my 5 year old child and it touched him as it did me. He "got it" as I "got it". Highly recommended story. True to life.

Excellent addition to the library   (2010-01-14)
I would recommend this to my friends because it is a funny story about this brother and sister who fight all the time. It is as good as her (Judy Blume's) other books for 3rd & 4th graders.
My Thoughts.....   (2009-12-17)
A true timeless classic, this is a heartwarming tale follows the relationship between a boy and a tree through several decades. I loved it. I think that this is a great read for the beginning reader, and also a great introduction to Emotional Intelligence (EQ) as well.
A nice addition to any library.   (2009-12-10)
