Fun, fast, and smart

Since I've read this, I've used it as a book to recommend to anyone who is looking for a title to read. "Have you read Motherless Brooklyn?" If not, I can safely recommend it and know it has as good a chance as anything out there to satisfy people. What do you recommend next becomes the problem!
