Goals of the project: to work with a host of local and regional experts in the areas of geology, weather, ecology, flora, fauna, Native Americans, folklore, history, art, literature, outdoor recreation, and geography to develop a searchable CD-ROM and website of materials pertaining to Mt. Shasta that can be used by educators and researchers throughout the world; to develop and include curriculum designed for use by K-12 and postsecondary education professionals to enhance instruction in the areas of the sciences, social sciences, and humanities.
