Charles Francis Wyatt] listing the original purchase of this copy "From Sotheby's Sale of Liby. of John Bruce F.S.A. May 1870" followed Wyatt's comments and his list of the sales of three other copies of the first edition in 1893, 1894 and 1899; opposite free end-paper signed by later owner Mangum Weeks and annotated: "Alexandria, Virginia & Resurrection Manor in Maryland. April 1956." and on verso "Bought of S[???], Phila. for $ [?] mw" ; further annotations of Weeks on p.
