Abstract:

Recognizing that Pakistan is facing dire economic and security threats within the next 6-12 months, this report indicates that more urgent support and assistance from within the international community and particularly the United States is required. At the same time, the Pakistan government does need to implement policy changes. This report also recommends that the United States promote beneficial actions by both sides in the India-Pakistan crisis.
