In the paper author compares the role of ideas in the first and in the third Kant's Critique. Although is Kant's conception and understanding of what is an idea, idea as such, in both Critiques much or less the same, in the third Critique the role which in the first Critique was assigned to ideas now is entrusted to the transcendental principle. The question of the unity of both main parts of the third Critique is at the same time question on the role of transcendental principle.
