Abstract:

Patrick, who worships all things American, comes of age in a small village near a U.S. military base. Patrick is living a pleasant French life surround by a happy family and a lovely girlfriend. One day, by accident, he meets an American soldier who will change his life forever. The soldier introduces Patrick to American music, fun, freedom and women. Patrick decides to follow his dream of becoming a drummer and falls in love with an American girl. Patrick is heartbroken when his if faced with the reality that there is a price to pay for living the American way.
