Segment one: Before hours, aired WNBC-TV, Channel 4, 2/16/88. Includes clips of the New York Shakespeare Festival Broadway production of Serious money by Caryl Churchill, and its opening night party at Comex. Includes clips of Martin Sheen at party.
Segment two: Live at five, aired WNBC-TV, Channel 4, 3/10/88. Martin Sheen arrested for protest against Israeli treatment of Palestinians. Segues into clip about Save the Theaters campaign and rally on City Hall steps with Colleen Dewhurst, Sam Waterston, Patti LuPone. Includes interview with Gerald Schoenfeld and Collen Dewhurst, clip of demolition of Morosco Theatre and Marquis Hotel.
Segment three: Eleven o'clock news, aired WNBC-TV, Channel 4, 3/10/88. Death of pop star Andy Gibb, with clips from the Los Angeles production of the New York Shakespeare Festival production The pirates of Penzance starring Gibb.
