Segment one: New York views, aired Channel 7, January 14, 1989, 7:30 p.m. Report on artist Paul Davis. Includes images of posters Davis designed for various New York Shakespeare Festival productions. Interviews with actors Eli Wallach and Anne Jackson.
Segment two: Television commercial for Café crown. January 27, 1989. Two versions of a commercial for the Hy Kraft play, produced on Broadway by the New York Shakespeare Festival. Commercial produced by Weinter and Associates.
Segment three: Jewish spectrum, aired Channel block, cable TV, February 26, 1989, 3:30 p.m. Interview with Avi Hoffman and Eleanor Reissa about the New York Shakespeare Festival production of the Rosalie Gerut musical Songs of paradise. Hoffman performed and directed and Reissa performed and created the musical staging.
Segment four: Entertainment tonight, aired Channel 7, March 6, 1989, 7:30 p.m. Report on the 41st wedding anniversary of Eli Wallach and Anne Jackson, celebrated on stage at the Broadway production of Café crown, in which both actors performed.
Segment five: Today show, aired Channel 4, March 20, 1989, 7:00 a.m. Interview with performer Mandy Patinkin. He discusses his show Mandy Patinkin: dress casual and his role in the William Shakespeare play The winter's tale, both New York Shakespeare Festival productions. Patinkin performs a song during the interview.
Segment six: Eyewitness news, aired Channel 7, March 20, 1989, 5:00 p.m. Report on a hamantaschen throwing contest held in Shubert Alley by the casts of A chorus line, Café crown, and Songs of paradise, all New York Shakespeare Festival productions. Hamantaschen are pastries traditionally eaten during the Jewish holiday Purim.
