"Berkeley, Cal." Medium shot of Ernest Lawrence at the control board of the Cyclotron. Medium shot of technician inside Cyclotron. Another medium shot of Lawrence at the control board. Pan over technicians on top of Cyclotron. Another medium shot of technician inside Cyclotron. Pan along huge pipes to a technician. In fact, at the present time we are busy with plans to attack a new frontier in nature, the domain of energies in the atom above a hundred million volts, and I know this is going to be a great encouragement and help. Another close-up of Lawrence: "Naturally, a portion of the prize will go to help ease the family budget."
