Worldcat got it wrong. This is not a biography. This book is actually a history of Panama in the last half of the 20th century. Sure it covers Noriega, and the Canal, and the invasion, but it goes into the actual political, social and economic history of Panama like no other book. More than 3,000 references, even more citations, all sorts of books, government and bank reports cited. The numerous appendices are a gold mine of information, all backed by citations.
